Method of use, course and dosage Bifidumbacterin Forte:

The drug is taken inside during meals, if necessary - regardless of the meal.

The preparation in the form of capsules is prescribed to adults and children aged 3 and older. The capsules are taken with boiled water or an acidic milk product. For children, when necessary, the capsules are opened and the contents are mixed with liquid food, preferably with an acidic milk product. The capsule contents can be mixed with 20-50 ml boiling water at room temperature, thus a muddy suspension with particles of sorbent in black is formed. The resulting water mixture should be drunk, not achieving complete dissolution.

Depending on the severity of the disease, Bifidumbacterin Forte is used in regular or increased doses.
In order to treat, the preparation is administered in normal doses to patients of all age groups.
The usual dose for adults is 2 capsules or 2 sachets 2-3 times/day; for children aged 3 years and older - 1 capsule 3-4 times/day, 1 bag 3-4 times/day, 1 bag 2-3 times/day for children aged 1 year and older.

The course of treatment for acute intestinal infections and food toxicinfections is 5-7 days, for other diseases - 15-21 days, depending on the nature and severity of the disease. If necessary, the courses of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times, each course is carried out one month after the end of the previous course of treatment.

Pharmacological effect Bifidumbacterin Forte:

A preparation of biological origin regulating the balance of intestinal microflora, a probiotic.

The action of the preparation is caused by a high concentration of bifidobacteria sorbed on particles of activated carbon, which are antagonists of a wide range of pathogenic (including Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus) and opportunistic pathogens (including Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp.).

Bifidobacteria, sorbed on a specially prepared carrier, provide increased clinical efficiency, rapid restoration of normal microflora. Microflora, being a natural biosorbent, accumulates a significant amount of toxic substances entering from outside or forming in the body and decomposes them into non-toxic components. The sorbed bifidobacteria, forming microcolonies, intensively activate the restorative and metabolic processes, wall-based digestion, synthesis of vitamins and amino acids, and immune defense of the body.
