paracetamol is an antipyretic analgesic. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic. The active ingredients of the drug do not cause drowsiness.

Interactions Coldrex Hotrem:

The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins can be enhanced with simultaneous long-term regular use of paracetamol with an increased risk of bleeding. Metoclopramide and domperidone may increase the rate of absorption of paracetamol , while cholestyramine may decrease it. With short-term use in accordance with the recommended dosage regimen, these interactions have no clinical significance.

The interaction between phenylephrine and MAO inhibitors causes a hypertensive effect. Phenylephrine reduces the effectiveness of β-adrenergic receptor blockers and other antihypertensive drugs. The simultaneous use of MAO inhibitors potentiates the effects of phenylephrine . The conditions in which these drugs are used are a contraindication for the use of Coldrex Hotrem Honey and Lemon.

Overdose Coldrex:

An overdose of paracetamol can cause the development of liver failure. The risk of developing an overdose is increased in patients with liver disease. In case of an overdose of paracetamol , emergency medical attention is required, even in the absence of symptoms. Paracetamol antidotes are N-acetylcysteine and methionine .

An overdose of phenylephrine can cause the development of headaches, pallor of the skin, an increase in blood pressure, reflex bradycardia, extrasystole are also possible. Nausea and vomiting are also possible. Coldrex
