Instructions for Persen Night

Structure Persen Night:

1 caps.
extract of rhizomes with valerian roots (dry) 125 mg
extract of lemon balm leaves (dry) 25 mg
extract of peppermint leaves (dry) 25 mg
Excipients: magnesium oxide - 6 mg, lactose monohydrate - 85.5 mg, hydrous magnesium silicate - 8.1 mg, magnesium stearate - 2.2 mg, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide - 3.2 mg.
The composition of the capsule shell: titanium dioxide (E171) - 1.369%, iron oxide red (E172) - 0.7527%, quinoline yellow (E104) - 0.0153%, sunset yellow (E110) - 0.0368%, azorubine (E122) - 0.0438%, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E128) - 0.2945%, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) - 0.1241%, gelatin - 97.3638%.

Pharmacological properties Persen Night:


The drug has a calming and antispasmodic effect.
The extract of rhizomes with valerian roots has a calming effect.
Lemon balm leaf extract - soothing and antispasmodic effect.
Peppermint leaf extract - antispasmodic, moderate sedative effect.

Overdose Persen Night:

Symptoms: a single intake of 20 g rhizomes with valerian roots (approximately 39 capsules of the drug Persen® Night) can cause a feeling of fatigue, stomach cramps, a feeling of tightness in the chest, dizziness, hand tremors, dilated pupils, which can go away on their own within 24 hours .
Treatment: gastric lavage is recommended.
In case of symptoms of an overdose, the patient should consult a doctor.

Indications for use Persen Night:


Insomnia (difficulty falling asleep) associated with increased nervous excitability.

Mode of application
It is taken orally with a small amount of water, regardless of the meal.
Adults and children over 12 years old with insomnia are prescribed 1-2 caps. 1 hour before bedtime.
The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks. The drug should not be used continuously for more than 1.5-2 months. To increase the duration of the course of treatment, the patient should consult a doctor.
Withdrawal syndrome does not develop upon discontinuation of treatment. Persen Night

Contraindications Persen Night:

hypersensitivity to drug Persen Night components;
lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
arterial hypotension;
cholangitis, gallstone disease and other diseases of the biliary tract;
pregnancy;
period of breastfeeding;
children under 12 years of age.
The drug Persen Night should be used with caution in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Side effects
Allergic reactions are possible (hyperemia, skin rash, peripheral edema, allergic dermatitis), bronchospasm, with prolonged use - constipation.

In patients with GERD, symptoms may worsen.
If symptoms persist or worsen during the use of the drug, the patient should consult a doctor.
The drug Persen Night should not be used continuously for more than 1.5-2 months.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms
During the period of drug treatment, care should be taken when performing potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving, working with moving mechanisms, the work of a dispatcher, operator).

Drug interactions Persen Night:

With the simultaneous use of the drug Persen Night with other drugs that depress the central nervous system (including hypnotics, antihypertensive drugs of central action, analgesics), it is possible to enhance the effect on the central nervous system (dose adjustment may be required).

Conditions of dispensing from pharmacies and shelf life
The drug should be stored out of the reach of children, in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
