Description Smecta®:

The suspension is almost white to light yellow in colour, uniform with a characteristic caramel smell.

Pharmacological effect of the drug:

Natural adsorbing and antidiarrhoea agent. It has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the intestine, has a pronounced adsorbing and weak-expressed coating effect. It is a stabilizer of the mucous barrier, penetrates the mucus and extends its lifespan, forming a physical barrier that protects the mucous membrane of the digestive tract from the negative action of H+ ions, intestinal microorganisms and their toxins.

Testimony Smecta®:

  • Acute and chronic diarrhea (allergic, medicinal genesis; In case of food disorders and quality of food), 
  • diarrhoea of infectious genesis - in complex therapy.
  • Treatment of symptoms associated with stomach and bowel diseases: 
  • heartburn,
  • feeling heavy, 
  • bloating, 
  • abdominal discomfort and other symptoms of dyspepsia.

Method of use, course and dosage Smecta®:

Inside. The dose and procedure are determined individually, depending on the patient's indications and age.

Use in children
It is possible to use in children according to indications, in recommended doses, in appropriate dosage forms.
When used in children under the age of 12 years, the product is dissolved in a liquid or mixed with any semi-liquid product (porridge, puree, baby food).
