Description:
Antiseptic.
Composition:
1 tablet (lozenge):
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
amylmetacresol 0.6 m
Indications for use Agisept:
Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth, throat, larynx:
tonsillitis
pharyngitis
laryngitis (including of a professional nature - in teachers, speakers, workers in the chemical and coal industries);
hoarseness
inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums (aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, thrush).
Pharmacokinetics Agisept:
Due to the low systemic absorption, there are no data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug.
Amylmetacresol
Pharmacodynamics Agisept:
Antiseptic combined preparation for topical use in ENT practice and dentistry. Has antimicrobial effect.
Active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; has antifungal effect.
Natural medicinal additives that are part of the drug have an emollient effect on the mucous membrane.
Contraindications Amylmetacresol:
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Children's age (up to 5 years)
Side effects Amylmetacresol:
Allergic reactions.
Method of preparation or use:
Adults - dissolve every 2 hours (until completely dissolved) 1 tablet or lozenge. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets or lozenges.
Children from 5 years old - 1 tablet or lozenge every 4 hours.
