Pharmacological effect
Vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is necessary for the formation of intracellular collagen, required to strengthen the structure of teeth, bones and walls of capillaries. It is involved in redox reactions, tyrosine metabolism, folic acid folate-folate metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid and protein synthesis, iron metabolism, cellular respiration processes, and activates steroid hormone synthesis. For systemic use: prevention and treatment of vitamin C hypo- and vitamin C deficiency; provision of increased vitamin C requirements during growth, pregnancy, lactation, heavy loads, fatigue, during convalescence after long-term severe diseases; in winter, at increased risk of infectious diseases.
For intravaginal use: Chronic or recurrent vaginitis (bacterial vaginosis, nonspecific vaginitis) due to anaerobic flora (eg, due to vaginal pH changes) to normalize the abnormal vaginal flora.

Method of administration and dosage
Use orally, IM, IV, or intravaginally.
