Pharmacological effect Bifiform Kids

The group of drugs with regulatory effects on intestinal microflora is classified as clinical pharmacological. As part of the pharmacotherapeutic group, these drugs are used in combination with other drugs and contain microorganisms capable of producing lactic acid.

The main pharmacologic effect of combination agents consisting of lactobacilli (LGG®), bifidobacteria (BB-12®), and B-group vitamins is their ability to increase intestinal microbial resistance. By acting synergistically, lactobacteria and bifidobacteria maintain the physiological balance of microorganisms in the intestine, which helps protect the mucosa from harmful bacteria and prevents pathogens from moving to the colon. They also exhibit antagonistic activity with respect to a plurality of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, and normalize immunity indices in the event of the immunosuppression thereof.

Also, combination drugs include vitamin B1 (thiamin), which is one of the main vitamins in energy metabolism. It is essential for carbohydrate metabolism as a coenzyme involved in the decarboxylation of ketoacids. Thiamin also plays an important role in the metabolism of proteins and fats, as well as affects the conduct of nerve excitation in the synapses of the cholinergic system.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is also present in combination drugs and has several beneficial properties. It is involved in nucleic acid synthesis, regulates phosphorus and calcium metabolism, improves liver function, and promotes blood production. In addition, pyridoxine plays an important role in the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system.
