Antimicrobial agent.

Indications for use Calcex:
Symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory diseases and "colds" diseases (as part of complex therapy). The drug should be taken by adults with the initial symptoms of a cold.
Pharmacodynamics:
The action of this complex drug is due to its components. Methenamine belongs to the class of antiseptics and disinfectants, to the aldehyde group. The action is based on the ability of the drug to decompose in an acidic medium with the formation of formaldehyde, which in this case has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
The complex salt of methenamine is present to replenish the deficiency of calcium ions, to reduce the permeability of the vascular wall (which is typical for any inflammation).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, hypoacidity of gastric juice, liver failure, chronic renal failure, pregnancy, lactation, childhood.
Side effects Calcex:
Dyspeptic disorders are possible, with the appearance of which the drug should be discontinued.
Method of preparation or use:
Inside, 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-5 days.
