Pharmacological effect
A plant-based remedy. When used externally, it has antimicrobial, local irritant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; in parenteral administration, analeptic, cardiotonic, vasoconstrictor and expectorant action. Stimulating sensitive nerve endings of the skin, reflexively improves the trophic of organs and tissues.
The inventive method consists in stimulating the respiratory and vasomotor centres of the elongated brain during a surgical intervention. It enhances metabolic processes in the myocardium, increasing its sensitivity to the effect of sympathetic nerves. Increases venous vessel tone, increases blood flow to the heart, coronary blood flow, blood supply to the brain and lungs. Excretion from the body through the respiratory tract, promotes the separation of sputum.
