Pharmacological effect Chophytol
A plant-based drug. The pharmacological effect of the preparation is determined by the complex of field biologically active substances contained in the artichoke leaves. Cynarine, combined with phenolacids, has a choleretic as well as hepatoprotective effect. The ascorbic acid, carotene, vitamins B1 and B2, inulin contained in the artichoke promote normalization of exchange processes.
It also has diuretic action and enhances urea removal.

Method of use, course and dosage Chophytol
Adults are prescribed two - three tabs. or 2.5-5 ml of the solution for ingestion three times/day before meals. The course of treatment is two to three weeks.
Children older than six years are prescribed 1-2 tabb. three times per day before meals. The oral solution, depending on the age, is administered in a dose ranging from 1/4 to 1/2 of the dose used in adults. The course of treatment is two to three weeks.
