Pharmacological effect Clindacin B prolong

The antimycotic drug butoconazole, due to its origins in imidazole, has the ability to destroy the fungi candida, trichophyton, microsporum, epidermaphyton, and various gram-positive bacteria, making it most effective in candidiasis. The mechanism of action of the drug is to block the formation of ergosterol, which leads to the destruction of the cell membrane of the fungus.

Clindamycin, in turn, is a bacteriostatic antibiotic from the lincosamide group, which acts on a wide range of microorganisms. It binds to a microbial cell's ribosome and inhibits protein synthesis. A number of gram-positive cocci may exhibit bactericidal properties. In vitro conditions, clindamycin is highly sensitive to microorganisms such as gardnerella vaginalis, mobiluncus spp., mycoplasma hominis, bacteroides spp., peptostreptocossus spp.

The preparation is presented in the form of a hydrophilic cream base, which provides a gel-like consistency at a certain temperature. When used intravaginally, active substances work on the vaginal mucosa for 1 to 3 days without losing their effectiveness. Cross-resistance between clindamycin and lincomycin is also noted.

Application and Dosage Clindacin B prolong:

Instructions for using the applicator Clindacin B prolong:

Disposable applicators attached to the package are designed for the accurate measurement and introduction of Clindacin® B Prolong cream into the vagina.

1. Open the tube with the cream, remove the lid and puncture the tube membrane with the back of the lid. Put a plastic applicator on the tube threaded neck.
2. Pushing on the tube from the other end, gently squeeze the cream into the applicator. The applicator piston will move as the required volume is filled. When the applicator is filled, the piston will reach the stop. Remove the applicator and close the tube with the lid.
3. Lying on your back, press your knees to your chest. Hold the applicator horizontally, gently insert the applicator as deeply as possible into the vagina, trying to avoid discomfort.
4. Slowly press the plunger until it stops, injecting the entire volume of the cream into the vagina.
5. Gently remove the applicator from the vagina and discard it in the bin.
