Description Costarox
The tablets, which are coated with a light green film shell, are round and double-convex.

Auxiliary substances:
calcium hydrophosphate anhydrous - 52 mg, cellulose microcrystalline - 51 mg, povidone K30 - 12 mg, magnesium stearate - 2 mg, sodium croscarmellose - 3 mg.

The composition of the shell tablet Etoricoxib:
Opadray II green 32C510003 - 3 mg: 15 cPs 3.2 mg hypromellose, lactose monohydrate 2.24 mg, titanium dioxide 1.776 mg, triacetine 0.64 mg, indigocarmine aluminium varnish (3-5%) 0.04 mg, iron oxide yellow 0.104 mg.

Symptomatic therapy of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis; pain and symptoms of inflammation associated with acute gouty arthritis; short-term treatment of pain associated with dental surgery.

Dosage, Course and Dosage:

The drug Costarox is taken orally at a dose of 60-120 mg once a day
In patients with hepatic insufficiency (5-9 points on the Child-Pugh scale), it is recommended not to exceed the daily dose of sixty mg.

Use in liver disorders
It is contraindicated in severe liver failure (over 9 Child Pugh) or active liver disease. Patients with moderate liver failure (5-9 Child Pugh) are advised not to exceed a daily dose of 60 mg.

Application in elderly patients Etoricoxib
It is used with caution in elderly people.

Use in children Costarox
It is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
