Active substance: 50 ug calcipotriol.

Psoriasis is vulgar (including in combination with acitretine, cyclosporine, or corticosteroids).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to calcipotriol and any auxiliary substance of the preparation;
Diseases accompanied by disorders of calcium metabolism;
The child's age is up to six years.
Precautions
Hypercalciemia, hypercalciuria, vitamin D hyperperitaminosis, anamnesis nephrolithiasis, age over 65, acute renal and liver failure.
Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding
The safety of the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not established. It is not known whether calcipotriol is released into breast milk. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be avoided.
Method of use and doses calcipotriol
Outside.
- Adults
Apply the ointment in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin twice a day. If necessary, the frequency of use of the drug can be reduced to once a day.
- Children
At the age of twelve years: apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected areas of the skin twice a day, the maximum dose for a week should not exceed 75 g,
Pharmacological effect
Synthetic analogue of the most active metabolite of natural vitamin D3. It causes dose-dependent inhibition of keratinocyte proliferation (significantly increased in psoriasis patients) and accelerates their morphological differentiation. It has little effect on the metabolism of calcium in the body. It is an inhibitor of T cell activation caused by interleukin 1.
