Pharmacodynamics Evamenol Nazo:
Antiseptic combined agent, the action of which is due to the components that make up its composition.
When applied to the skin, menthol has a local irritating, some antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect, accompanied by a decrease in the severity of pain and itching. The irritating (distracting) effect helps to eliminate pain. Local action is accompanied by vasoconstriction, a feeling of cold, turning into a sensation of slight burning and tingling. Skin-visceral effects (the reflex arc does not affect the brain) improve tissue trophism (corresponding to the zones of innervation). Phenyl salicylate is a phenyl ester of salicylic acid that breaks down into salicylic acid and phenol, which have a weak anti-inflammatory and disinfectant effect.
