Instructions for Flixonase (fluticasone) nasal spray 50 mcg
Pharmacological effect
Fluticasone propionate is a glucocorticosteroid (GCS) for intranasal administration. It has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect. When used in the nose, the drug has no systemic effect and practically does not affect the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system.
After administration of 200 mcg of fluticasone propionate per day, no significant changes in serum cortisol levels were observed compared to placebo. The ratio of AUC indicators (area under the curve) was 1.01, and 90% of the confidence interval was in the range from 0.9 to 1.14.
The anti-inflammatory effect of the drug is due to its interaction with glucocorticoid receptors.

Indications for use

Increased tearing.
How It Works fluticasone:

Total Doses per Bottle: 60, 120
Directions for Use fluticasone:
Adults and children 12 years and older: 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. Once symptoms resolve, reduce the dose to 1 spray in each nostril.
Children 4 to 11 years: 1 spray in each nostril once daily under adult supervision.
Shake the bottle gently before each use.
Blow your nose gently before spraying.
After use, wipe the nozzle and replace the cap.
For best results, use Flixonase daily.
