- The recommended course of treatment for adults and children aged eight and over is three months. In children, treatment
- should not exceed three months due to insufficient clinical data.
- After normal bowel operation is restored, the patient must maintain the effect: Live an active lifestyle and include foods
- rich in fibre.
- If constipation symptoms persist for more than three months, a further extended diagnostic examination should be carried out.
Pharmacological effect Forlax:
Osmotic laxative. The large molecular mass of macrogol 4000 is due to long linear polymers that hold water molecules by hydrogen bonds. This increases the volume of intestinal content after oral administration of the preparation. The volume of unabsorbed fluid, which is located in the intestinal tract, supports the laxative effect of the solution.
The laxative effect of Forlux is 24-48 hours after the reception.
