Description Glimepiride
Tablets are white or almost white, flat-cylindrical, beveled.

Auxiliary substances: lactose monohydrate 79.5 mg, microcrystalline cellulose 12 mg, sodium carboxymethyl starch 5 mg, povidone 1 mg, polysorbate 80 0.5 mg, magnesium stearate 1 mg.

Application method, course duration and dosage Glimepiride
An initial and maintenance dose is given individually, based on results of regular monitoring of blood glucose and urine levels.
The initial dose is 1 mg given once a day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased gradually (by 1 mg every 1 to 2 weeks) to a range of 4 to 6 mg.
The maximum allowable dose is 8 mg per day.
