Tablets are white or almost white, flat-cylindrical, beveled.

Application method, course duration and dosage Glimepiride

An initial and maintenance dose is given individually, based on results of regular monitoring of blood glucose and urine levels.
The initial dose is 1 mg given once a day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased gradually (by 1 mg every 1 to 2 weeks) to a range of 4 to 6 mg.

The maximum allowable dose is 8 mg per day.
