Glycine (aminoacetic acid) is an amino acid, a central inhibitory neurotransmitter. Has a sedative effect, improves metabolic processes in brain tissues and muscles.
Indications Glycine:
- Chronic alcoholism - to weaken the craving for alcohol
- reduce the phenomena of abstinence
- depression, increased irritability
- normalize sleep
- as well as with the phenomena of excitement with a simultaneous attraction to alcohol
- with acute alcoholic intoxication
- during remission in the presence of anxiety
- depression
- increased irritability
- also used as part of complex therapy for disorders of cerebral circulation.
Application Glycine Amino Acid:
Sublingual. In chronic alcoholism, to eliminate binge, 0.1 g is first prescribed, then again after 20 minutes and 60 minutes, then during the day - 3-4 times 0.1 g each; the daily dose is 0.6-0.7 g.
When symptoms of withdrawal are prescribed, 0.1 g 2 times a day for 5-7 days, then 0.1 g in the morning for 6-15 days. In the period of remission in the presence of depression, irritability, anxiety, take 0.1 g 2-4 times a day; for sleep disorders - 0.1 g 20 minutes before sleep.
In acute alcoholic intoxication, the phenomena of aggressiveness and excitement with a simultaneous attraction to alcohol, take 0.1 g of if necessary, appoint again with an interval of 15-20 minutes.
