Structure Hepa-Merz:
The concentrate for the preparation of solution for infusion is transparent, light yellow in color.
L-ornithine L-aspartate 1 ml - 500 m, 1 amp - 5 g
Excipients: water d / i - up to 10 ml.
Pharmaco-therapeutic group
A drug for the treatment of liver diseases.
Indications for use Hepa-Merz:
• acute and chronic liver diseases accompanied by hyperammonemia;
• hepatic encephalopathy, incl. as part of complex therapy for impaired consciousness (precoma and coma);
• as a corrective supplement to parenteral nutrition drugs in patients with protein deficiency.
Mode of application Hepa-Merz
Intravenous injected up to 40 ml (4 amp.) / Day, dissolving the contents of the ampoules in 500 ml of infusion solution.
In hepatic encephalopathy (depending on the severity of the condition), up to 80 ml (8 amp.) / Day is administered intravenously.
The duration of infusion, frequency and duration of treatment are determined individually. The maximum infusion rate is 5 g / h.
It is recommended to dissolve no more than 60 ml (6 amp.) Of the drug in 500 ml of infusion solution.
Contraindications of the drug Hepa-Merz:
• severe renal impairment (serum creatinine> 3 mg / dL);
• Breast-feeding
• hypersensitivity to drug components.
Side effects of Hepa-Merz
