Pharmacological properties Immunal:
Immunal is an immunostimulant of plant origin. Echinacea purpurea contains biologically active substances that activate nonspecific protective reactions of the body. By increasing the number of leukocytes (granulocytes) and stimulating phagocytosis, the active substances of the drug suppress the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. In addition, the antiviral effect of the herb Echinacea purpurea against influenza and herpes viruses has been established.
Indications Immunal:
Prevention and treatment of colds and flu; as an adjunct drug Immunal for long-term antibiotic therapy; stimulation of nonspecific protective reactions of the body in infectious diseases.
Application Immunal:
To achieve a positive effect, you must take the drug for at least 1 week. The recommended duration of one course of treatment is no more than 8 weeks.
Drops Immunal:
Adults and children over 12 years of age are prescribed 2.5 ml (50 drops) 3 times a day. In the initial stage of the disease, the first dose is 5 ml (100 drops), then 2.5 ml (50 drops) are taken with a 1-2 hour break during the first 2 days of the disease. Then - 2.5 ml (50 drops) 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years are prescribed 1.5 ml (30 drops) 3 times a day. Children aged 1 to 6 years - 1 ml (20 drops) 3 times a day.
Drops are taken with a small amount of liquid; a pipette is attached for accurate dosing.
Pills Immunal:
Adults and children over 12 years old - 1 tablet 3-4 times a day. Children from 6 to 12 years old - 1 tablet 1-3 times a day. Children from 3 to 6 years old - 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.
The tablet should be taken with water. For young children, it is recommended to crush the tablet and mix with a little water, tea or juice.
Contraindications Immunal:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation and to plants of the Compositae family; progressive systemic diseases - tuberculosis , leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis , AIDS or HIV infection; age up to 1 year.

Possible hypersensitivity reactions in the form of a skin reaction (hyperemia, rash), as well as swelling of the face, difficulty breathing or a decrease in blood pressure.

With prolonged storage, the solution may become cloudy with the formation of a flocculent precipitate consisting of active polysaccharides. This does not affect the medicinal properties of the drug. Shake the bottle several times before taking the drops.
