Pharmacotherapeutic group Imunorix
Immunostimulant
Pharmacological effect Imunorix
These characteristics indicate that pidothymode is an immunomodulator that enhances and regulates the body's immune system. It stimulates cell immunity by increasing the activity of natural killer cells (certain types of nk cells that can kill infected cells or cancer cells) and activating phagocytosis (a process in which phagocytes ingest and kill microorganisms and other harmful particles). In addition, pidothymode also increases production of cytokines, which are signaling molecules in the immune system that play an important role in the regulation and coordination of the immune response. Eventually, pidothymode helps strengthen immunity in the presence of immunodeficiency.
Indications Imunorix
As part of comprehensive therapy, it includes immunocorrection to fight bacterial, fungal, and viral respiratory tract infections, both upper and lower, as well as infections involving the urinary tract.
