Pharmacological effect Kerawort
Imichimod, the main ingredient in Keraworth, is a compound that modifies the body's immune response. It is important to note that Imichimod does not have a direct antiviral effect. It stimulates the production of interferon alfa (IFNα) and other cytokines, thereby strengthening the immune system.

Method of use, course and dosage Kerawort
The drug is used externally.
The cream is applied in a thin layer to the clean surface of the affected skin areas and gently rubbed until fully absorbed. The cream should be applied only to affected areas, avoiding contact with internal surfaces.
Keraworth should be applied 3 times a week (for example, Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) before bedtime and left on the skin for 6-10 hours. After a specified time, the cream is washed off with warm water and soap.
A dressing should not be used on the cream area.
Treatment should be continued until genital or perianal warts that are visible disappear, but not for more than 16 weeks.
The cream is packed in disposable sachet bags containing the necessary amount of cream to apply to the affected skin area of 20 square centimeters. You can't reuse a cream from an already opened bag.
If the patient forgets to apply the cream as scheduled, the missed dose should be applied as soon as the patient thinks about it, and the usual schedule should be continued.
The cream must be used no more than once a day.
It is not recommended to apply excessive amounts of cream.
