Composition:
microcrystalline cellulose and starch (carriers), fructose, senna extract, silicon dioxide and calcium stearate (anti-caking agents), fennel extract.
Description:
Senna is a natural laxative.
The mechanism of action of senna is well understood: the laxative properties of this plant depend on the anthraquinones (anthracene derivatives) contained in it.
They stimulate the intestines and, as a result of reflex exposure, contractions begin in it, leading to emptying.
The result of application occurs after about 8-12 hours. The extract of fennel fruit included in the preparation additionally has a carminative (with flatulence), choleretic and diuretic effect.
Application:
chronic constipation (hypo-, atony of the large intestine), regulation of stool with hemorrhoids and proctitis (without exacerbation), anal fissures. Appearance of tablets: Round, well-formed tablets.
Colour:
From light brown to dark brown with a splash. Odor: Characteristic of the corresponding type of plant material.
Indications:
It is recommended as a biologically active food supplement - a source of anthracene derivatives (chrysophanic acid), which has a mild laxative effect that increases intestinal motor function.
