Limontar® is used:
as a means for increasing the non-specific reactivity of the body of pregnant women, improving its adaptation and compensatory and protective capabilities in order to prevent complications of hypoxia, fetal hypotrophy, and pregnancy failure;
for the prevention of intoxication;
Treatment of acute mild to moderate alcohol intoxication to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and post-intoxication disorders;
in complex therapy for the treatment of constipation conditions in patients with chronic alcoholism;
During the period of alcohol withdrawal syndrome for complex treatment of asthenovegetative disorders (general weakness, decreased performance, appetite);
as a "trial breakfast" in the study of secretory and acid-forming functions of the stomach (diagnostic significance of the drug Limontar® and histamine is equal).
Method of use, course and dosage Succinic acid:
It is used for food. Before taking the tablet is ground and dissolved in water with drinking soda (soda - on the tip of a knife). Mineral water can be used for dissolving.
Pregnant Limontar® is given 1 tabb/day for 10 days in the first trimester (12-14 weeks gestation) and in the second trimester (24-26 weeks gestation). In trimester III, they are given 10-25 days before delivery. Total dose of Limontar during pregnancy 5-7.5 g.
As a means for the prevention of intoxication, one tabb of the preparation Limontar® for 20-60 minutes prior to alcohol consumption.
In a state of acute alcohol intoxication, the preparation is prescribed one tab each. 2-4 times/day with an interval of 1-2.5 hours.
When used as a "trial breakfast" for the study of secretory and acid-forming functions of the stomach take in, on an empty stomach 1 tabb., having previously dissolved in ten - 11 ml of water.
