Description of the drug Mezym Forte:
The tablets are rosy-coated, flat-cylindrical, with almost flat parallel surfaces and beveled edges, with a characteristic odor of the active substance pancreatin.

The drug corrects the deficiency of enzymes produced by the pancreas.
Indications Mezym Forte
Patients have inadequate production of enzymes by the pancreas.
For chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis
Inadequate production of enzymes by the pancreas (eg, in chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis)
Chronic inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, as well as the state after surgery or radiation therapy of these organs, accompanied by digestive disorders, abdominal distention and diarrhea (as part of a complex treatment);
To improve the digestive process in people with normal gastrointestinal tract operation in case of dietary disorders;
Mode of application, course and dosage pancreatin
The dose is determined individually depending on the degree of digestive disturbance.
Adults: one - two tablets. before meals, without chewing and drinking water.
If necessary, one or four additional tablets are taken during meals.
In children, the drug is used as prescribed by a doctor.
Duration of treatment can range from a few days (when digestive problems result from errors in diet) to months or years (when continuous replacement therapy is needed).
