Pharmacological effect Microlax
The inventive laxative agent is based on sodium citrate (a peptist which expels bound moisture from the intestine), sodium lauryl sulphoacetate (which liquefies the intestinal contents) and sorbitol (which intensifies a laxative action by stimulating water supply to the intestine). Increasing moisture levels through peptization and liquefaction helps soften stool and facilitates bowel movements.
Laxative effect appears in 5-15 minutes after taking the drug.
Testimony Microlax
Intestinal examination before endoscopic and radiologic examination, including constipation and defecation problems, is mandatory.
Method of use, course and dosage Microlax
The drug is given rectally.
3. Pressing the tube, squeeze completely its contents.
For adults and children older than 3 years, inject the entire contents of 1 microenema (5 mL), inserting the entire length of the universal tip (60.6 mm long).
3. Pressing the tube, squeeze completely its contents.
For infants and children younger than 3 years, inject all 1 microenema contents, inserting a universal tip half length (see tip elevation). If complaints persist for a long time, people should see a doctor. For children under 3 years old, a shortened tip microenema (47.3 mm long) can also be used. In this case, enter the entire contents of one enema rectally, inserting the tip along the entire length.
3. Pressing the tube, squeeze completely its contents.
Instructions for the use of the drug:
1. Break the seal on the tip of the tube.
2. Press lightly on the tube so that a drop of the drug lubricates the tip of the enema (to facilitate the introduction process).
3. Pressing the tube, squeeze completely its contents.
4. Remove the tip while continuing to press the tube slightly.
