Description
The capsules are hard gelatin, with a transparent body and a dark orange lid; the contents of the capsules are intestinal soluble pellets of cylindrical or spherical, or irregular shape from light brown to brown, with a characteristic odor; heterogeneity of color is allowed.

Storage conditions
Keep the drug out of the reach of children in a dry, light-protected place. The storage temperature shall not exceed 25 °C.
Shelf life
The drug is good for two years. Do not use after the expiration date.
Pharmacological effect pancreatin
Micrasim® are capsules with pancreatine pellets containing natural enzymes from the pancreas of animals: protease, lipase, and amylase. These enzymes help break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates during digestion.
After taking Mykrasim®, the capsule dissolves rapidly in the stomach, releasing pancreatine pellets coated with an intestinal-soluble sac. Thanks to their small size, pellets quickly and evenly mix with food, penetrating into the duodenum and small intestine. In the intestine, enzymes are activated, facilitating the complete and rapid digestion of food.
The intestinal-soluble shell of the pellet protects the enzymes from destruction in the stomach, ensuring their preservation and high activity in the intestine. This brings the action of the drug closer to the natural process of digestion. Enzyme activity is maximized 30 minutes after ingestion, providing a rapid therapeutic effect.
After interaction with food substrates, enzymes lose their activity and are excreted from the body along with the intestinal contents.
Indications pancreatin
Micrasim® is used in the following cases:
Replacement therapy for pancreas failure:
chronic pancreatitis,
pancreatectomy,
effects of radiation,
dyspepsia,
cystic fibrosis,
flatulence,
diarrhea without an infectious cause.
Impaired absorption of food after gastric and intestinal surgery
Improving digestion in people with normal GI function when dietary inadequacies (eating fat or bulky foods, irregular nutrition), as well as when mastication disorders, sedentary lifestyle, and prolonged immobilization are present.
Remheld syndrome (gastrocardiac syndrome).
Preparation for X-rays and ultrasound of the abdominal organs.
Mode of application, course and dosage
The dosage of the drug is selected individually depending on age, severity of symptoms and diet. Registered formulations of Micrasim® 10,000 U and Micrasim® 25,000 U are used. Capsules should be taken by mouth, drinking enough neutral liquid (water, fruit juices). If the single dose exceeds one capsule, half is taken just before the meal and the other half is taken at the meal. A single dose of 1 capsule should be taken with meals
