Description Miramistin
Ointment for local and outdoor use in white or almost white, uniform, with a faint characteristic smell.

Adjuvants: 0.5 g of edetate, 338 - 5 g of poloxamer, 400 (400) - 16.1 g of macrogol, 1500 (1500) - 20 g of macrogol, 6000 (6000) - 9 g of macrogol, 45.9 mg of propylene glycol, up to 100 g of purified water.

Antiseptic agent has antiviral and bactericidal effect (hydrophobic interaction with membranes of microorganisms leads to their destruction). It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative, aerobic and anaerobic, spore-forming and asporogenic bacteria in the form of monocultures and microbial associations, including hospital strains with antibiotic polyresistance.
Method of use, course and dosage Miramistin
Locally and externally. In case of pus wounds and burns - application of gauze bandages dipped with 0.01% solution.
In the case of acute and chronic ureteritis and ureterprostatitis, the solution is introduced into the urethra in the volume of two - five ml two - three times a day for five - seven days (in combination with other preparations).
To prevent infection with postnatal injuries, intravaginally administered tampons soaked in 50 ml solution, with exposure of two hours for seven days.
To prevent sexually transmitted diseases, you should urinate before use, wash your hands and genitals. Then, the cap of the bottle is unscrewed, pressing against the walls, the skin of the pubis, the inner surfaces of the thighs and genitals is treated with a jet of solution. The nozzle is introduced into the outer opening of the urea channel and 1.5-3 ml (male) and 1-1.5 ml (female) are squeezed out, and 5-10 ml is squeezed into the vagina. Without opening the fingers, the nozzle is removed from the opening of the urethra, and the solution is delayed for two - three minutes.
After the procedure, it is not recommended to urinate for two hours. It is prophylactic effective if the procedure is not later than two hours after sexual intercourse.
