Pharmacological effect Mucofalk
The seed shell of the oval plantain contains hydrophilic fibers, which increase in size by absorbing water. This in turn stimulates motor skills and contributes to the normalization of the large intestine. The gel-forming fraction softens the stool and acts as a lubricant, improving bowel movements in constipation and painful defecation in patients with perianal lesions.
Indications Mucofalk

- anal fissures,
- hemorrhoids,
- postoperative period after anorectal procedures (to produce softer stools).
