Pharmacological effect dexpanthenol

Dexaminol is a pantothenic acid derivative that is an integral part of Coenzyme A and is involved in acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, acetylcholine synthesis, steroid hormones, and porphyrins. It stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases collagen fiber strength. It has regenerating, metabolic and mild anti-inflammatory effects.

The increased need for pantothenic acid is observed when skin or tissue damage occurs, in which case the local pantothenic acid deficiency can be remedied by local use of D-Panthenol Novatenol.

The optimal molecular mass of dexpantenol, hydrophilicity and low polarity make it possible for active substances to penetrate all layers of the skin.

The adjuvants that make up the D-Panthenol Novatenol cream improve its properties.
