Storage Conditions
The drug Ovipol Klio should be stored in a place protected from light, inaccessible to children at a temperature of 15° to 25°C.
Best before date
Shelf life is 3 years. Do not apply after expiry date.

Method of use, course and dosage:
Intravaginally, before bed.
In the case of atrophic mucous membrane of the lower sections of the urogenital tract, 1 suppository (0.5 mg) is prescribed daily in the first 2-3 weeks, then the dose is gradually reduced based on the symptoms, 1 suppository (0.5 mg) 2 times a week.
Pre- and post-operative therapy in postmenopausal women - 1 suppository (0.5 mg) for 2 weeks before or after surgery.
The diagnostic agent is embodied in the form of 1 suppository a day during the week prior to a subsequent swab.
f the next dose of the drug Ovipol Klio has been missed, it should be taken immediately. However, if this is detected only on the day of the next dose, you should continue taking the drug in the usual pattern, not making up for the missed dose. You cannot administer two doses in one day.
If no improvement occurs after treatment or the symptoms become worse or new symptoms appear, the patient should consult a doctor.
The drug should be used only according to the indications, the method of use and in the doses indicated in the instructions.
Application for kidney disorders
With caution, the drug is used for kidney failure.
Use in liver disorders
It is contraindicated in acute liver disease or liver disease in the anamnesis until liver function returns to normal.
With caution, prescribe the drug Ovipol Klio for benign liver tumors (for example, liver adenoma).

Pharmacological effect:
The drug Ovipol Klio® contains Estriol - an analogue of the natural female hormone. It makes up for estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women and relieves postmenopausal symptoms. Estriol is most effective in the treatment of urinary disorders. In the case of atrophy of the mucous membrane of the lower sections of the genitourinary tract, Estriol promotes the normalization of the epithelium of the genitourinary tract and contributes to the restoration of normal microflora and physiological pH in the vagina. As a result, the resistance of the urinary and genital epithelium to infection and inflammation is increased, the dryness of the mucous membrane and itching in the vagina are reduced, pain during sexual intercourse, the likelihood of vaginal infections and urinary tract infections is reduced, urination is normalized and urinary incontinence is prevented. Unlike other estrogens, Estriol has a short period of action, as in the endometrial cell nuclei it is held for a short period of time.
