Instructions for Poslabin Lactulose 30 tablets
Pharmacological effect Poslabin Lactulose
Sent Lactulose has a mild laxative effect. It promotes the normalization of motor-evacuatory function of the gastrointestinal tract, supports the growth of normal microflora of the intestines. Lactulose is not broken down by digestive enzymes in the upper gastrointestinal tract, and in the same way reaches the lower parts of the colon, which contributes to the softening of caloric masses and the normalization of intestinal digestive disorders. Lactulose is a nutrient medium for bifido- and lactobacteria of the large intestine, selectively stimulating their growth. By actively breeding under the influence of lactulose, bifido- and lactobacilli produce organic acids, which leads to a reduction of the pH of the intestines and the suppression of the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.

In the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy (coma/complete loss of consciousness, characterized by complete absence of body reactions to external stimuli/or precoma/incomplete loss of consciousness - the initial stage of coma development, characterized by the persistence of pain and reflex reactions/), the product is prescribed for 30-50 ml twice - three times a day; it is possible to increase the dose to 190 ml per day.
