Instructions for Prostatex Plus (tamsulosin, prostate extract) rectal suppositories
Indications for use tamsulosin
Painful symptoms (long-term pelvic pain syndrome) and urinary disorders in benign prostatic hyperplasia and chronic prostatitis.
Method of application
Rectally, one suppository once a day before bedtime. The duration of the therapeutic course is 20 days.
Composition tamsulosin
Active ingredients: prostate extract, powder - 50 mg, including water-soluble peptides - 10 mg; tamsulosin hydrochloride - 0.4 mg.
Auxiliary substance: solid fat (grade Suppocire NA 15) - sufficient amount to produce a 1.25 g suppository.
Description Prostatex Plus
The rectal suppositories are torpedo-shaped, white to whitish with yellowish or grayish-brown tones, and have a uniform texture. Possible presence of white plaque on the surface and the presence of air in the incision or funnel-shaped depression.

Combined drug for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Prostate extract has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland of men.
It also contributes to reducing edema, leukocyte infiltration, and restoring the secretory activity of human epithelial cells.
An increase in the amount of lecithin granules in the secretion of acinuses and stimulation of bladder muscle tone.
It improves prostate microcirculation by reducing clotting and antiplatelet activity, preventing venous thrombosis.
Prostate extract normalizes the state of the prostate and the parameters of the ejaculate.
It also reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates dysuric disorders and improves sexual function.
