Description Prostatex:
From white to white with a yellowish or grayish-brown hue, torpedo-shaped, uniform consistency, white plaque may appear on the surface of the suppository and an air rod or funnel-shaped depression may be present on the longitudinal section.

Pharmacological effect Prostatex:
Prostatex has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces edema, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate, normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secret of acinuses, stimulates muscle tone of the bladder. It improves microcirculation in the prostate gland by reducing thrombosis formation, antiaggregant activity, and inhibits the development of thrombosis venules in the prostate gland. Prostatex normalizes prostate and ejaculate parameters. Reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates disuric phenomena, improves copulative function.

Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to drug components.
Method of use and doses Prostatex:
Rectal suppository after spontaneous bowel or enema discharge once a day. It is advisable to stay in bed for thirty to forty minutes after the introduction of the suppository. The duration of the course of treatment with Prostatex - not less than ten days. If necessary, repeat courses may be held. If after treatment the improvement does not occur or the symptoms become worse, or new symptoms appear, consult a doctor.
