Combined oral contraceptives (COCs) have a complex effect on the body. Their main effects include suppression of ovulation and thickening of cervical mucus, which prevents sperm from entering the uterus. Regulone contains two active ingredients: desogestrel, a synthetic progestogen with a pronounced antiovulatory effect, and ethinyl estradiol, a synthetic estrogen. If used correctly, the Perl index (100 women a year are less likely to become pregnant) is
However, if admission is interrupted, this figure may increase.

The menstrual cycle becomes more regular in women taking COC. The bleeding becomes less painful and intense, decreasing the risk of iron deficiency anemia.

Indications Regulon

The drug is used for contraception.

Application, course and dosage

The drug is taken by mouth (by mouth). People need to drink one tablet at the same time every day. The course lasts 21 days. Start with the first tablet from the package, following the order specified on the package. After the 21-day course, a break of seven days should be taken. During this interval, menstrual-like bleeding commonly begins, known as withdrawal bleeding. It usually begins on the second to third day after the last pill is taken and may continue until new pills are taken.

It is important to start the new packaging on the same day of the week. This allows for a menstrual cycle in which "withdrawal bleeding" occurs at about the same time each month.
