Instructions for Semavic Neхt (semaglutide) [Ozempic] 3 ml syringe pen 1 pc
Semavic Neхt contains an active substance - semaglutide, which is an agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1R) receptor, obtained through chemical synthesis.
Semaglutide interacts with at least six of the eight key mechanisms of type 2 diabetes, improving the course and prognosis of the disease and improving the overall well-being of patients.
Clinically significant doses of semaglutide help lower blood glucose levels and weight loss. Semaglutide also has a positive effect on blood lipid profile, decreases systolic blood pressure, and reduces insulin resistance.
Semaglutide helps reduce overall body weight and body fat volume by reducing caloric intake. This mechanism includes a general decrease in appetite, an increased sense of satiety, a reduced sense of hunger, better control of food intake, and a reduction in nutritional cravings. Additionally, semaglutide reduces the tendency to eat foods high in fat.
Because semaglutide has a half-life of about one week, it can be given subcutaneously (n/a) once a week.
