Instructions for Suprastin (chloropyramine) 25 mg
Release Form chloropyramine
Solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration: transparent, colorless liquid with a slight characteristic odor, 20 mg of chloropyramine hydrochloride in 1 ml, in 1 ml ampoules. The vials can be packed in 5 or 10 pieces in contour cell packages, which in turn are placed in cardboard packs.
Tablets: white, 25 mg chloropyramine hydrochloride, 20 or 40 pieces per package.

Packing:
1 ml - ampoules with a break point and a dark red code ring (5 or 10 ampoules in a contour cell package).
Outline cell packages are placed in cardboard packs.

Pharmacological effect chloropyramine
Chloropyramine hydrochloride is an antihistamine of the 1st generation from the ethylenediamine group. It blocks histamine H1 receptors, exerting antihistamine and M-cholinergic activity. It also has antiemetic properties, moderate spasmolytic and peripheral cholinergic activity.
After taking the tablets, therapeutic effects develop in 15-30 minutes, reach a maximum within the first hour, and last for at least 3-6 hours.

- Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
- Allergic conjunctivitis.
- Contact dermatitis.
- Skin itching.
- Acute and chronic eczema.
- Atopic dermatitis.
- Food and Drug Allergy.
- Allergic reactions to insect bites.
- Angiedema (angiedema) - for solution.
Mode of application, course and dosage chloropyramine
Tablets
The pills should be taken by mouth with meals, without chewing or drinking enough water.
Adults: 25 mg (1 tablet) 3 to 4 times a day (75 to 100 mg daily)
Children:
Between 3 and 6 years of age: 1/2 tablet (12.5 mg) twice daily and 25 mg daily.
