Composition Tantum Verde:

1 spray dose contains: Active ingredient: benzydamine hydrochloride 510 mcg.

Pharmacological effect Tantum Verde:

NSAIDs. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of the COX enzyme and impaired prostaglandin synthesis.

Indications Tantum Verde:

For oral administration:
pain syndrome of low and moderate intensity of various etiology.

For external use:
venous insufficiency of the lower extremities with manifestations of phlebostasis, phlebitis and thrombophlebitis of the superficial veins of the lower extremities (as part of combination therapy), conditions after sclerosing veins and phlebectomy, postphlebitic syndromes, violation venous circulation in the lower extremities during pregnancy

For local use:
inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat, as an additional agent in conservative therapy after tooth extraction, after surgical interventions and injuries (tonsillectomy, jaw fractures), calculous inflammation of the salivary glands, inflammatory diseases of the vagina

Contraindications Benzydamine:

Hypersensitivity to benzydamine.

Precautions Tantum Verde
During the treatment period, an exacerbation of psoriasis is possible. In pheochromocytoma, propranolol can be used only after taking an alpha-blocker. After a long course of treatment, propranolol should be discontinued gradually, under the supervision of a physician.

During treatment with propranolol, intravenous administration of verapamil, diltiazem should be avoided. For several days before carrying out anesthesia, it is necessary to stop taking propranolol or choose an anesthesia drug with a minimal negative inotropic effect.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms In patients whose activities require increased attention, the issue of using propranolol on an outpatient basis should be resolved only after assessing the patient's individual response.

Application during pregnancy and lactation:

Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation, oral administration in this category of patients is not recommended.

Method of administration and dosage Benzydamine:

For oral administration - 50 mg 4 times / day. Topically and topically applied 1-2 times / day.

Side effects Tantum Verde:

Possibly: drowsiness, allergic reactions. Local reactions: burning sensation, numbness of tissues. When applied topically, reactions associated with a resorptive effect are possible.

special instructions Benzydamine:

It is not recommended to use for rinsing the oral cavity in children under the age of 12 years. In case of infectious and inflammatory diseases, it is used as part of a combination therapy.
