Description Thymogen
Dosed nasal spray as colorless, clear liquid; characteristic odor of benzalkonium chloride allowed.

alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan sodium (expressed as alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan) 25 ug
Auxiliary substances: sodium chloride - 900 mg, benzalkonium chloride - 10 mg, purified water - up to 0.1 ml.
10 ml (at least 80 doses) - vials of dark glass× (1) with a metering pump (100 μl) with a plastic body, nozzle and with a protective cap - cardboard packs.

The drug should be stored away from children at temperatures of 2°C to 8°C.
Expiration date
Shelf life - 2.5 years. Do not use after expiry date indicated on the package.
Pharmacological effect Thymogen
It acts on cell and humoral immunity reactions, as well as on non-specific defense of the body, regulating their functions. Promotes regeneration in the event of the repression of the resumption processes. Increases the efficiency of metabolic processes in the body cells. Increases activity of differentiation receptors on lymphocytes, restoring normal T-helper, cytotoxic T-cell count, and ratio in patients with various immunodeficiency states.
Indications Thymogen
Prevention and treatment of acute and chronic viral and bacterial diseases of the upper respiratory tract
Preventing decreased immunity, haematopoiesis and regeneration processes in the post-traumatic and postoperative periods;
Comprehensive care with radiation therapy, chemotherapy and antibiotics to correct secondary immunodeficiency;
Comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic infectious-inflammatory diseases accompanied by immune compromise.
Method of administration and dosage Thymogen
When using the drug Timogen® it is important to properly dose and inject it into the nasal passages. Hold the bottle with your thumb at the base and the nozzle of the dispenser between your middle and index fingers. Insert the nozzle vertically upward in the bow passage. Push the nozzle once.
Adults are advised to take one dose (one injection) twice a day in each nasal passage for 10 days for treatment or 3 to 5 days for prevention.
For children aged 1 to 6 years, one dose, given through one nasal passage, is recommended once a day. For children 7 to 14 years old, injecting one dose into each nasal passage once a day is recommended. The duration of the drug for children is the same as for adults - 10 days for treatment or three to five days for prevention.
Timogen® may be repeated at the earliest in one month.
It is important to follow the instructions and use the drug only according to the specified dosages and method of use. If necessary, patients are advised to consult their physician before starting a drug.
