Description Ursomax:
Solid gelatin size capsules, opaque, body and cap in white color. The contents of the capsules are a mixture of powder and granules in white or almost white. The capsule contents can be packed into clumps which can be easily destroyed by pressing.

Pharmacological effect:
Hepatoprotective agent, has a choleretic effect. Reduces cholesterol synthesis in the liver, absorption in the intestine and concentration in bile, increases cholesterol solubility in the bile system, stimulates bile formation and elimination. Reduces bile lithogenicity and increases bile acid content. It increases gastric and pancreatic secretion and lipase activity

Method of use and doses Ursodeoxycholic acid:
Inside. Children and adults with a body weight of less than forty-seven kg are advised to use the drug as a suspension. Dissolving cholesterol gallstones: The recommended dose is ten mg/kg/day of reparate should be taken daily in the evening, before going to bed (capsules are not chewed), drinking a little liquid. Duration of treatment - six - twelve months. To prevent repeated cholelithiasis, it is recommended to take the drug for several months after the stones dissolve. Treatment of biliary reflux gastritis and reflux esophagitis: one capsule of the drug every night, before bed (capsules are not chewed), drinking a little water. The course of treatment is from 10-14 days to six months, if necessary - up to two years. Symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis: The daily dose depends on body weight and ranges from three to seven capsules (approximately 14±2 mg/kg ursodeoxycholic acid per kg body weight).
