Description:
Eye drops in the form of transparent or almost transparent, colourless or slightly coloured liquid.
1 ml
methylethyl pyridinol hydrochloride 10 mg
Auxiliary substances: hydroxypropyl betadex - 20 mg, potassium dihydrophosphate - 10.8 mg, sodium benzoate - 2 mg, sodium hyaluronate - 1.8 mg, sodium dihydrate - 0.36 mg, 2M solution of phosphoric acid - up to pH 4.0-5.0, water d/i - up to 1 ml.
5 ml glass bottles (1) with finger-tips - cardboard packs.
10 ml - polyethylene terephthalate bottles (1) with drip - foil film packages (1) - cardboard packs.

Storage Conditions
The drug should be stored in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.

After opening the bottle, the shelf life is 1 month.

Pharmacological effect Vixipine:
The preparation reduces the permeability of capillaries, strengthens the vascular wall, stabilizes the cell membrane, inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces blood clotting and viscosity, and has an anti-aggregation and anti-hypoxic effect.

treatment and prevention of inflammation and corneal burns;
Treatment of haemorrhage in the front eye;
treatment and prevention of haemorrhaging in the sclera of older streets;

Method of use, course and dosage:
The preparation is injected into the conjunctival cavity in 1-2 drops 2-3 times/day.
The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease (usually 3-30 days) and is determined by the doctor. If indications are present and the drug is well tolerated, the treatment can be continued for up to 6 months or repeated 2-3 times a year.
Procedure for working with a tube-dropper
1. Open the batch, separate one tube-dropper, put the rest back into the batch.
2. Open the tube-dropper (making sure that the solution is in the bottom of the tube-dropper, rotating movements turn and separate the valve).
3. Tilt the head back, pull the lower eyelid downward with one forefinger, holding the drip tube with the other hand vertically above the eye tip downwards.
4. Bury the required amount of the drug in the conjunctival eye bag.
5. Close the tube-drip valve.
The opened tube-dropper can be stored no more than 24 hours, then the tube-dropper should be thrown away.
Procedure for operating a bottle with a finger attachment
1. Pull the protective cap up, open the bottle.
2. Carefully, without touching the tip of the bottle with your fingers, flip the bottle and, placing the thumb of one hand on the special cap-rest, make a few taps before the first drop.
3. Tilt the head back, place the tip of the bottle over the eye and index finger of the other hand to pull the lower eyelid downwards.
4. Holding the thumb on the attachment-support, press it and bury the necessary amount of the drug in the conjunctival eye bag. Avoid contact of the tip of the open bottle with the eye surface and hands.
5. After using, put the cap on the bottle. After opening the bottle, the drug can be used for 1 month. After this period, the drug should be thrown out.
If the bottle is visibly damaged, do not use the drug.
Order of operation with a bottle of polyethylene terephthalate with a plastic drip
1. Open the bottle and remove the cap with counterclockwise rotating movements.
2. Carefully, without touching the tip of the bottle with your fingers, flip the bottle, fix between the thumb and forefinger of one hand.
3. Tilt the head back, place the tip of the bottle over the eye and index finger of the other hand to pull the lower eyelid downwards. Lightly press on the bottle and bury the necessary amount of the drug in the conjunctival eye bag.
Avoid contact of the tip of the open bottle with the eye surface and hands.
4. After use, put the cap on the bottle and close with rotating motions clockwise.
After opening the bottle, the drug can be used for 1 month. After this period, the drug should be thrown out.
If the bottle is visibly damaged, do not use the drug.
Overdose:
Overdose cases are not described.
Drug interaction:
The drug should not be mixed with other medicinal solutions.
Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the preparation during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.
Side Effect:
Possible: burning sensation, itching, short-term conjunctival hypermia, local allergic reactions.
If any of the above side effects are aggravated or the patient has noticed any other side effects, he should inform the doctor.

Special Instructions
If it is necessary to simultaneously apply other eye drops, the preparation is buried last, after the complete absorption of the previous drug (not earlier than in 15 minutes).
