magnesium stearate - 2 mg,
povidone K30 - 5 mg,
sodium croscarmellose - 10 mg,
cellulose microcrystalline - 85 mg,

macrogol 6000 - about 1.2 mg,
titanium dioxide - about 2.4 mg,
talc - about 4.8 mg,
hypromellose 5 - about 8.4 mg.

- short-term treatment of mild to moderate acute pain syndrome;
- symptomatic therapy of pain and inflammation against osteoarthritis;
- symptomatic therapy of pain and inflammation against rheumatoid arthritis.
Method of use, course and dosage Xefocam:
The drug Xefocam is taken inside, having enough liquid.
Doses and regimens for all patients should be based on individual responses to the drug.
Pain
The dose is 8-16 mg/day, divided into 2-3 doses. The maximum recommended daily dose is 16 mg.
Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
The initial recommended dose is 12 mg of lornoxicam, divided into two to three doses. The maintenance dose shall not exceed 16 mg/day.
Lornoxicam is not intended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 18, as safety and efficacy data are not sufficient.
It is not necessary to select a dose specifically for patients of old age (over 65 years of age), but the drug Xefocam should be prescribed with caution, because in this age group, undesirable phenomena from the gastrointestinal tract are worse.
For patients with mild to moderate kidney impairment, the maximum recommended dose is 12 mg and should be divided into two or three doses.
Use in liver disorders
The use of the preparation in severe liver failure is contraindicated.
If liver function (cirrhosis) is impaired, the drug should be prescribed only after a thorough assessment of the expected benefit of the therapy and the possible risk.

Elderly patients (over 65 years of age) should be administered with caution.

The use of the preparation in the age of up to 18 years is contraindicated.

Pharmacological effect Xefocam:
NSAIDs are classified as oxycams. It has a pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
The mechanism of action is the suppression of prostaglandin synthesis (inhibition of the enzyme COX), leading to the suppression of inflammation.
Lornoxicam does not affect the basic indicators of the body: Body temperature, HSS, AD, ECG data, spirometry.
The analgesic effect of lornoxicam is not related to narcotic action.
The drug Xefocam does not have an opiate-like effect on the CNS and, unlike narcotic analgesics, does not suppress breathing, does not cause drug Xefocam dependence.
Due to the presence of a local irritant effect on the gastrointestinal tract and a systemic ulcerogenic effect associated with the suppression of prostaglandin synthesis, complications from the gastrointestinal tract are frequent undesirable effects in the treatment of NSAIDs.
