Lauromacrogol 400 (polydocanol) damages the endothelium of the vessels, causing the denaturation of proteins. The degree of damage to the endothelium depends on the concentration and volume of the injected product.
The pressure dressing, which is applied immediately after the introduction of Lauromacrogol 400, compresses the walls of the veins and thus prevents excessive thromboformation and recanalization of the originally formed wall clot. The fibrous scar formed in this way provides for the sclerosis of the vein.
Lauromacrogol 400 also has anesthetic properties. It not only reduces local excitability of sensitive receptors, but also interrupts feedback through sensitive nerve fibers, which causes the absence of sclerotherapy pain.

Method of use, course and dosage Aethoxysklerol
The composition is used in/in and introduced into the hemorrhoidal assembly. The dose, administration path, application pattern and duration of therapy are determined individually, depending on the indications, clinical situation, the patient's body mass and the dosage form used, taking into account the effectiveness of the therapy and the size of the area to be sclerotized. The method of introduction should be strictly observed.
Depending on the prevalence and severity of varicose veins sclerosing therapy can be repeated in one - two weeks.
