Histamine drug
Betagistin acts mainly on histamine H1 and H3 receptors of the inner ear and vestibular nuclei of the central nervous system. By direct agonistic action on the H1 receptors of the inner ear vessels, as well as indirectly on the H3 histamine receptors of the vestibular, central nervous system (CNS) nuclei, it improves the microcirculation and permeability of capillaries, normalizes endolymph pressure in the labyrinth and snail. However, betagistin increases blood flow in the basilar artery.

Method of use and doses Betahistine
Inside, while eating.
8 mg tablets: 1-2 tablets three times a day.
16 mg tablets: 1/2-1 tablet three times a day.
The improvement is usually observed at the beginning of therapy, the stable therapeutic effect occurs after two weeks of treatment and may increase during several months of treatment.
