Pharmacological effect Climalanine:

Anti-climacteric agent. The amino acid β-alanine counteracts the rapid release of histamine, but does not have antihistamine activity because it does not cause histamine H1 receptor blockade.

It has a direct effect on the expansion of peripheral skin vessels, which is the basis of vegetative responses in climmax (tides, heat sensation, heat, headache). These vasomotor reactions are caused by the activity of the thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus due to the imbalance of cerebral neurotransmitters that occur when the hormones are no longer secreted by the ovaries. Beta-alanine contributes to the saturation of peripheral receptors of neurotransmitters.
