Pharmacological effect Combilipen

The complex of B vitamins and neurotropic vitamins of this group has a positive effect on inflammatory and degenerative pathologies of the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. It increases blood flow and improves the functioning of the nervous system.

Thiamin plays a key role in carbohydrate metabolism and the Krebs cycle, facilitating synthesis of thiamin pyrophosphate (TPP) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Pyridoxine is involved in protein metabolism and is also involved in carbohydrate and fat metabolism. Both vitamins enhance the action of each other, positively affecting the nervous, neuromuscular and cardiovascular systems.

Vitamin B6 deficiency is often characterized by common symptoms, which quickly disappear after administration of these vitamins. Cyanocobalamin is involved in the synthesis of myelin sheath, stimulates hematopoiesis, reduces pain associated with peripheral nervous system damage, and activates nucleic metabolism through folic acid.

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that causes all types of local anesthesia: terminal, infiltration, and conduction anesthesia.,

Indications Combilipen

The drug is used as a means of pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy in various diseases and syndromes of the nervous system. It is effective for neuralgia, neuritis, facial paresis, retrobulbar neuritis, ganglionitis (including shingles), plexopathy, neuropathy, polyneuropathy (diabetic, alcoholic, and other forms), and nocturnal muscle cramps, especially in older patients. The drug is also used in the neurological manifestations of osteochondrosis of the spine, such as radiculopathy, lumbar ischalgia and muscular-tonic syndromes.

Mode of application and dose

Dosing mode
The mode of administration and dosing regimen of a particular drug depend on its release form and other factors. The optimal dosing regimen is determined by the doctor. The dosage form used should be strictly adhered to the indications and dosage regimen.
Injections are given deep IM.

In case of severe pain syndrome, it is reasonable to start treatment with an I/M injection (deep) of 2 ml daily for five to ten days, with a subsequent transition to either oral or rare injections (two to three times/week for two to three weeks) with the possibility of continuing therapy with the oral formulation.

Weekly follow-up by a doctor is needed. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually depending on the severity of symptoms.
The oral formulation is recommended to be used as soon as possible.
