Pharmacological effect Dancil
The preparation is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent belonging to the fluoroquinolone group. Its bactericidal effect is to block the enzyme DNA gyrase in bacterial cells.
This drug has high activity against most gram-negative organisms such as Esherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Morganella morganii, Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Serratia spp., Citrobacter spp., Yersinia spp., Providencia spp., Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Mycoplasma spp., Legionella pneumophila, Acinetobacter spp., Chlamydia spp.
It is also active against certain gram-positive organisms, including Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp.
Some organisms, such as Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas spp., are moderately sensitive to this drug.
Microorganisms that produce β-lactamase are susceptible to it, while anaerobic bacteria, except Bacteroides urealyticus, are not susceptible.
Testimony Dancil
The drug is used in the following conditions: blepharitis, stye, conjunctivitis, dacryocystitis, keratitis, corneal ulcer, chlamydial eye infection, prevention and treatment of bacterial infections after eye injuries and surgery, external otitis media, chronic suppurative otitis media (including cases of tympanic membrane perforation), and prevention of infectious complications of surgery in adults and external otitis and acute otitis media with an established tympanostomy tube in children aged 1 to 11 years.
Method of use, course and dosage Dancil
To treat ocular infections, inject 1 to 2 doses each time into the lower conjunctival sac of the affected eye 2 to 4 times a day. It is not recommended to use the drug for more than 2 weeks.
To treat ear infections, a drug should be given in the affected ear 10 doses at a time 2 times a day for 10 days.
