Rectal suppositories: light yellow to light brown, torpedo shaped; longitudinal incision free of extraneous inclusions; air rifling or funnel depression allowed.

Pharmacological effect Ecofucin
Natamycin is an antifungal polyene antibiotic from the macrolide group, which has a wide range of action. It has a fungicidal effect. It binds to the sterols of cell membranes, disrupting their integrity and function, leading to the death of microorganisms.

vaginitis, vulvitae, vulvovaginites caused by fungi of genus Candida.
Method of use, course and dosage natamycin
The suppositories, having been previously released from the circuit package, are introduced into the vagina when lying in the position thereof, once/day per night, as deeply as possible.
For candidiasis vaginitis, vulvitae, vulvovaginitis are used intravaginally for one supp each for 3-6 days.
In the case of persistent vaginitis flow caused by Candida albicans, natamycin is additionally prescribed in the form of tablets for ingestion: four times per day for 10-20 days, one taba.
The duration of the treatment is determined individually. It is recommended to continue treatment for a few more days after the disease symptoms disappear.
The use of suppositories is interrupted during menstruation.
