pharmachologic effect Emoxypine:

Angioprotector,
reduces the permeability of the vascular wall, is an inhibitor of free radical processes,
antihypoxanth and antioxidant,
reduces blood viscosity and platelet aggregation.
Possesses retinoprotective properties, protects the retina from the damaging effects of high-intensity light, promotes resorption of intraocular hemorrhages, improves eye microcirculation.

  • Thermal and chemical burns limited to the area of the eye and its adnexa
  • Presence of glasses and contact lenses
  • Drops are used in adults as a regenerating and retinoprotective agent for intraocular hemorrhage. For keratitis, burns and dystrophies of the cornea, for intolerance to contact lenses, for the prevention and treatment of laser burns of the lens. 
  • And for the prevention of the eyes of specialists working with laser radiation.
  • Treatment - hemorrhage in the anterior chamber of the eye, 
  • complications of myopia
  • Corneal protection (when wearing contact lenses); treatment and prevention - inflammation and burns of the cornea, hemorrhage in the sclera of elderly patients.
  • The drug is also prescribed to protect the retina of the eye when exposed to high intensity light

Method of application Emoxypine:

Into the conjunctival sac - 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day.
The duration of treatment drug is 3-30 days.
If necessary and well tolerated, the course of treatment can be continued up to 6 months, or repeated 2-3 times a year.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
With caution - during pregnancy.

Side effect Emoxypine:

When instilling eyes, a slight burning sensation may appear in the eyes
There may also be occasional itching, short-term conjunctival hyperemia.
Very rarely - local allergic reactions.

Contraindications Emoxypine:

Hypersensitivity.
With caution - pregnancy.

special instructions Emoxypine:

The solution should not be mixed with other medicines. If necessary, the simultaneous use of other eye drops, the drug is instilled last, after complete absorption of the previous drug (not less than 15 minutes).
