pharmachologic effect sertaconazole
Sertaconazole is an antifungal agent derived from imidazole and benzothiofen. It has fungistatic and fungicidal action in therapeutic doses. It is active against Candida. The mechanism of action of sertaconazole is to inhibit ergosterol synthesis and increase the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, resulting in the lysis of the fungus cell.
It also has antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria (staphylo- and streptococci).

How to take, course of reception and dosage sertaconazole
Intravaginal, once.
The external genitals should be washed with neutral or alkaline soap before use.
One vaginal suppository is inserted deep into the vagina while lying on its back before bed.
If clinical symptoms persist, the product may be reintroduced in 7 days.
